The Cote of Many Colours – My 2nd Crave Magazine Feature!

Page_1 copyBack in March I posted about my Japan travel x food story, which was published in Crave Magazine. Now, I’m excited to share my latest feature story with Crave with you, written about the wonderful food and art of the South of France (also known as the Cote d’Azur, or Riviera).

It was a trip down memory lane for me to write this story because I spent a large part of my childhood in that part of the world. So, in that spirit, here are some photos from yesteryear…Page_1

Page_2 copyIn the article I mention some of the wonderful art galleries in the area. Here I’m at the famous Fondation Maeght, located in St-Paul-de-Vence. That afternoon I ate a Niçoise salad for lunch in town… UntitledHere are some items from the historic Astoux et Brun seafood restaurant in Cannes: oysters and goodies that go with their delicious fish soup (soupe de poisson)Page_3And finally, some highlights from Cannes’ beautiful and bustling fresh food market: Marché Forville. An early morning visit to the market was a family tradition on weekends, after which we would enjoy lunch and dinner – made using the many, many different things for sale.

I hope some of you will pick up a copy of the magazine and, as the magazine cover promises, “Cruise the French Riviera”. 🙂
